Often local governments cite lack of resources for why they cannot move forward with their cybersecurity program – but did you know there are many resources available at no cost to you? This can be a great option to help stretch those dollars for your cybersecurity program efforts! Our short two-page resource points you in the direction some free resources to help you in areas such as:
- Employee awareness training
- Non-technical training for managers about cybersecurity
- Technical training for IT staff
- Incident response assistance
- Independent assessments of your cybersecurity practices
- Technical testing of your cybersecurity defense
It's important to remember that you are not alone in your efforts to improve cybersecurity. Organizations like MS-ISAC, Homeland Security, and the National Cybersecurity Alliance are there to help – you just have to know where to look and how to sign up!
