Picture this: FIT update offers new ways to see your data

We've updated the Financial Intelligence Tool (FIT) with local governments' fiscal year 2021 data. As of June 30, our Office received more than 90 percent of local government annual report filings. This includes 100 percent of the 2021 annual reports from local governments in Asotin and Garfield counties and 90 percent of the state's 324 fire districts.

Curious how your peers around the state did in meeting the filing requirements? Our interactive infographic shows which governments filed on time, which filed late, and which haven't filed at all. You can view the data by county or by entity type. To access this information, click the “Interactive Filing Statistics” option from the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner of FIT.

To ensure you are viewing the most recent data in FIT, look for the tag, “Data is Current,” at the bottom of any FIT webpage. If the page you're viewing implies the data is historical, click the yellow box to make it current.
