Annual report filing deadline is approaching—how many local governments have already filed?
Mar 9, 2026
Annual report season is underway
Annual report season is here, and we encourage local governments to submit their reports accurately and on time. Filing on time ensures compliance with state law and demonstrates a shared commitment to accountability and transparency in government.
This year’s filing deadline for local governments with a December 31 fiscal year-end is May 30, 2026. To help track statewide progress, we’re once again publishing a live infographic that updates daily as the deadline approaches. The infographic shows how many governments have:
- Filed their annual reports
- Are in progress of filing
- Have yet to begin the filing process
Monitoring progress can help your team stay on track and see how your filing compares statewide.
